The North Shore Scribes is a unique group of talented women writers who live on the North Shore. It was founded in May of 2008 by local author, Lina Rehal.
We meet one Saturday a month for two hours at the home of one of our members.
Our mission is to foster our writing skills and share our experience, knowledge and ideas with others who love to write. We have one rule: to encourage and support each other in a helpful, constructive manner.
Our meetings are casual, stimulating and productive. Honest critiques, suggestions and discussions are beneficial in helping all of us reach our individual goals. We have varied writing styles and work in several genres, which include fiction, non-fiction, memoir, nostalgia and poetry.
We cannot take on any new members at this time. However, we do have a waiting list and anyone interested in joining should leave us a message on this blog or check back at a later date.
